2016 LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of Austin

About The Program

The LPGA-USGA Girls Golf program is a developmental junior golf program for girls 7-17. It was formed to create a network for girls to learn to play golf, make friends, and sample competition in a positive and supportive learning environment. As the only national golf initiative for girls, the program provides the opportunity to develop skills, progress in golf and have fun while establishing life-long interest in the game of golf. The Austin chapter is run by The First Tee of Greater Austin.

How to Join/Sign Up

Registering for Girls Golf in Austin is easy as 1 - 2 - 3. There are three steps to register:

STEP 1: National Sign Up

Click the box below to become a member of the national LPGA-USGA Girls Golf program. There is a nominal fee. Each girl must be a member for the national program to partake locally - many benefits are tied to this membership too. This membership also helps the chapter earn grants to subsidize opportunities.

STEP 2: Local Sign Up

Click the box below to sign up for the Austin Chapter. The membership fee is $80 for one player and $40 for each additional sibling. This fee goes towards benefits the girls receive (pizza, t-shirt, etc.). You'll receive emails from the Austin Site Director - Jennifer MacCurrach - to RSVP for individual events.

STEP 3: RSVP for events via email

It is really important to notify Jennifer if you can or cannot make an event. We rely on RSVPs to know how many coaches we need and to make up the groups in advance.
